Small businesses out here don't need a crew of twenty. They need an electrician who answers the phone, shows up when he says he will, and gets the shop, office or site running again without a lot of overhead. That's the kind of commercial work we do.
Bright Haven Electric handles service calls, lighting upgrades, new circuits for equipment, 3-phase work, and service removals for businesses, ag operations and utility sites across west central Minnesota. Every job is overseen by our Master Electrician, and we pull the state permit and coordinate with the utility when the job calls for it.
- Troubleshooting and repairs for shops, offices and storefronts
- LED lighting retrofits, inside and out
- Circuits and disconnects for new equipment, including 3-phase
- Service removals and site decommissioning
- Permit, inspection and utility coordination handled
What we do for businesses
Repairs and troubleshooting. Breakers that trip, dead circuits, equipment that won't start, lights that flicker. We find the cause and fix it.
Lighting. Replacing old fluorescent and metal halide fixtures with LED cuts the power bill and the maintenance. We do interior, parking lot and building-mounted lighting.
Equipment circuits. New compressors, welders, coolers, ovens and machines need the right circuit, disconnect and protection. We size and install them, including 3-phase where you have it.
Tenant and remodel work. Moving into a new space or rearranging an old one usually means new outlets, lighting and circuits. We'll walk it with you and put the scope in writing.
Service removals and decommissioning
When a temporary service or an old site is no longer needed, it has to come out safely and to code. In Olivia we decommissioned a temporary electrical service at a cell tower site: removing the panelboard and meter, terminating the conductors and capping the underground conduit, all coordinated with the state inspector and the utility.
Working around your business hours
We know a shut-down costs you money. When a job needs the power off, we plan it with you ahead of time and keep the outage as short as we can.
