Electrical Safety Audit & Home Inspection
Look Closer
Your home inspector checks if the lights turn on. We check why they flicker. Our Electrical Safety Audit is a deep-dive health checkup for your home's entire electrical system.
Most inspections are visual only. We take the cover off the panel, check connection torque, test Ground Fault (GFCI) trip times, and inspect attic wiring for rodent damage. We find what others miss.
What We Inspect
Whether you're buying a new home or just want peace of mind for your current one, we leave no wire unchecked.
Panel Health
Overheating & Corrosion. We check for double-tapped breakers, scorching on the bus bar, water damage, and loose neutral connections that can cause fires.
Life Safety
GFCI & AFCI. We verify that outlets in wet areas (kitchens, baths) actually trip when they should. We also check smoke/CO detector expiration dates.
Grounding System
The Safety Path. We inspect your main grounding electrode system—water pipe bonds and ground rods—to ensure your home can safely dissipate surges and lightning.
Home Inspector vs. Electrician
Home Inspector
- Visual: Only looks at what is visible.
- Closed Panel: Often won't remove the deadfront cover.
- Generic: "Recommend evaluation by electrician."
Master Electrician
- Invasive: We open boxes and panels to see connections.
- Actionable: We can often fix minor issues on the spot.
- Official: Written report for insurance or negotiation.
